We are a young and dynamic team who are driving the business forward and looking for an Accounts Assistant to join us. Our plans to develop our Accounts team start with you.

In our business we know that it is more than just numbers; it is a service-led business, and this role will require you to build relationships with clients, to help ensure our service is personal to all clients. We encourage collaboration throughout the business and want you to be a part of our big plans.

Skills we need from you

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and resolving queries efficiently
• Meet monthly planning targets
• Completion of accounts to a high standard for a variety of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Completion of corporation tax returns
• Management accounts preparation
• VAT Returns
• Client bookkeeping
• Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel) and Accountancy Software such as IRIS, TaxCalc, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
• Assist junior members of the team and provide on-the-job training/ feedback
• Proactive in your approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and hit deadlines
• Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment

• Complete Personal Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients in conjunction with the completion of accounts
• Commercial in your mindset
• Blog writing skills
